2013 ? Saudi Offers “Castrated African Slave” for Sale on Facebook!!!!

Saudi-slavery-online-sale-of-black-african-muslim

Who says that the Muslim world isn’t modern? Sure they could hold old-fashioned auctions for African slaves. But instead they’re leveraging the power of social media for their slave auctions.

Here’s the ad!

Peace be upon you …

I have a [male] slave I bought from an African country and arranged for his visa and stay till I got him to Saudi [Arabia]

His description:

1 – Black skin. Tall 172 sm. Weight 60 kilos.
2 – Castrated (excellent for working with a family) you can check him with a doctor our yourself if you have experience in the matter.
3 – [His] health is quite undamaged and has no imperfections.
4 – Age 26 years.
5 – Religion muslim and [he is] obedient and will not disobey you except in what displeases God. Please, the matter is very serious and is not a joke.

No it’s not a joke. Saudi Arabia had an estimated 300,000 slaves in 1960. Slavery was then officially abolished, but unofficially continues to exist.

Saudis who travel outside their country sometimes bring their slaves with them, leading to run-ins with the law.

Sorry I don’t know if it is my posting of this or the ad in itself. It does really make me sick to see that happening in 2013, I could not believe my eyes!

      • sorry, it is not your posting it! I am glad you posted it, it is important for people to know the conditions there and North Korea and other places. I should have clarified, that this so called religion of peace is entrenched in such heinous treatment of their own people. imagine if they had their way with people who were no their own! Your posts are awesome, sorry I mis-spoke 🙂

thanks for the reply. Loved your website by the way. This is such a sad sad event, I couldn’t believe my eyes and usually I do try to avoid to post these topics for there are so many awful things like this happening, but I had to let people know that exists! Best!

          • There is no power in silence or ignorance. If you can speak up/out and one person hears, that is the only way to free these people. I am always shocked by what I see coming out of North Korea, how come this stuff is not on the news EVERY DAY? It seems people only care about what the next pregnant teenager on Mtv is doing, or who wore the sluttiest dress to a phony baloney awards ceremony. It is a sad state of affairs when those things are more important than human suffering. it all hits home for me since my brother has been studying to be an internation refugee attorney, specifically to help free child soldiers in south america and africa! Your work is awesome 🙂 Have a blessed day!!!
