Years ago I had a cat who was always on the wrong side of the back door. We had a cat flap installed, but the cat never did learn how to lift it – she could get out OK, but coming in was another challenge altogether. We ended up holding it partly open with a peg, and she finally mastered the art of entering. But if the peg was dislodged she was stuck and her Door Opening Servants had to come to the rescue…
