Life AFTER Death: Shock claim of evidence showing consciousness may continue as a SOUL

The human conscious lives on after death, scientists have sensationally claimed….

The possibility of life after death is one of the greatest mysteries of humanity, but now experts are claiming that there is no death of consciousness – just death of the body.

According to some well-respected scientists, quantum mechanics allows consciousness to live on following the body’s eventual demise.

While scientists are still unsure about what exactly consciousness is, the University of Arizona’s Stuart Hameroff believes that it is merely information stored at a quantum level.

British physicist Sir Roger Penrose agrees and believes he and his team have found evidence that protein-based microtubules – a structural component of human cells – carry quantum information – information stored at a sub-atomic level.

Hundreds of genes seen sparking to life 2 days after death

The discovery that many genes are still working up to 48 hours after death has implications for organ transplants, forensics and our very definition of death

When a doctor declares a person dead, some of their body may still be alive and kicking – at least for a day or two. New evidence in animals suggests that many genes go on working for up to 48 hours after the lights have gone out.

This hustle and bustle has been seen in mice and zebrafish, but there are hints that genes are also active for some time in deceased humans. This discovery could have implications for the safety of organ transplants as well as help pathologists pinpoint a time of death more precisely, perhaps to within minutes of the event.

Steve Jobs Speaks About Death, speech made by him at Stansford University in 2005

Posted in 2014 with tags , , , , on January 9, 2014 by MARIE EMMANUELLE QUILICHINI

“Death is the Destination We All Share”

This is a powerful speech given by Steve Jobs shortly before his metastatic cancer went out of remission and finally killed him. He thought he might be “out of the woods” when he made this speech but, as he puts it so well here, nobody is out of the woods, in regards to death, which he calls “…Very Likely, the single best Invention of life.”

Excerpt from a BBC documentary “The day i died”; the reality of the survival of consciousness after death

Posted in 2013 with tags , , , , , , , on December 20, 2013 by MARIE EMMANUELLE QUILICHINI

Pam Reynolds Lowery from Atlanta, Georgia was an American singer-songwriter. In 1991, at the age of 35, she had a near-death experience (NDE) during a brain operation. Her NDE is one of the most notable and best documented in NDE research.
During “standstill” operation, Pam’s brain was found “dead” by all three clinical tests – her electroencephalogram was silent, her brain-stem response was absent, and no blood flowed through her brain which left her clinically dead. Interestingly, while in this state, she encountered the “deepest” NDE of all.

She made several observations about the procedure which later were confirmed by medical personnel as surprisingly accurate.
Pamela Reynolds Lowery died of heart failure at the age of 53 (1956 — May 22, 2010)

This famous near-death experience is considered by many to be proof of the reality of the survival of consciousness after death, and of a life after death.

Her out-of-body recollection is “the single best instance we now have in the literature on near-death experiences to confound the skeptics,” according to Kenneth Ring, professor emeritus of psychology at the University of Connecticut and a chronicler of these episodes.

After most of the 51 pilot whales that were stranded in Florida last week swam back into deeper waters, 11 more whales were found dead in the lower Florida Keys

After most of the 51 pilot whales that were stranded on the edge of the Florida Everglades National Park last week swam back into deeper waters, 11 more whales believed to be from the same pod were found dead in the lower Florida Keys on Sunday, officials said, adding that chances of survival for the remaining whales were very slim.

Despite rescue efforts by scientists, 10 of the whales died on Wednesday and another whale was found dead Thursday. Now, with 11 whales found dead on Snipe Point, about six miles north of Sugar Loaf Key, the death toll has increased to 22.

“We believe these are part of the original pod of 51 stranded pilot whales,” National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Fisheries Service said, in a statement. “Given our knowledge of past mass pilot whales strandings, the outlook for finding the remaining whales alive is bleak.”

Officials said that 29 whales remained unaccounted for ever since they were first seen alive on Friday, and feared that the remaining whales may already be dead. Pilot whales, which are known to be highly social and live in a cohesive unit, are most susceptible to end up in mass strandings as they are reluctant to break away from other members of their pod even in trouble.

Here are the Most Common 5 Regrets of the Dying

Posted in 2013 with tags , , , , , , , , on October 29, 2013 by MARIE EMMANUELLE QUILICHINI

Regret_Nothing

1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.

2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.

This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children’s youth and their partner’s companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.

By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.

Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.

We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.

It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called ‘comfort’ of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again.

When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying.

Life is a choice. It is YOUR life. Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly. Choose happiness.

Based on this article, Bronnie has now released a full length book titled The Top Five Regrets of the Dying – A Life Transformed by the Dearly Departing. It is a memoir of her own life and how it was transformed through the regrets of the dying people she cared for. This inspiring book is available internationally through Hay House.

Death Cafe: Talking Tea and Mortality

The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.  – Mark Twain

‘Do you have a death wish?” is not a question normally bandied about in seriousness. But have you ever actually asked whether a parent, partner or friend has a wish, or wishes, concerning their death? Burial or cremation? Where would they like to die? It’s not easy to do.” For the past few years, “death cafes” have cropped up organically in Great Britain, providing a safe and open space for people to speak about a topic that is normally a cultural taboo. Hundreds of people, often strangers, have sat in makeshift circles in dozens of gatherings, where issues such as the preciousness of life, what makes a good death, and the privacy and dignity of the dying are comfortably discussed over tea (and even scones!). With the goal of the death cafe movement — to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives — spreading, this article describes its origins and the importance of death in how we conduct our lives. { read more }
