Two years ago, George the dog lost his best friend, a labrador named Blackie.

They’d been best friends for twelve years. They played together, lived together, and loved each other.

When Blackie died, George’s owner, Jacquie Litton, said that George was overcome with grief. He fell into a serious sad spell, refusing to play or run around the way he used to.

But then a few weeks ago, a duck showed up. And everything changed.

Tiny dog vs big dog – who’s the boss? Pocket-size Chihuahua mix who fights a much larger pooch to keep all the food to herself

Posted in 2014 with tags , , , , on March 27, 2014 by theboldcorsicanflame

Never underestimate a dog trying to protect her food from a rival – no matter how tiny she may be.

A hilarious – and at times slightly worrisome – video posted by dog owner Kenny Grant shows a canine version of the David and Goliath death-match, with the role of the scrappy upstart played by a miniature Chihuahua mix named Sadie.

In the clip, Sadie proves to be fearless and feisty despite her diminutive stature, fending off her pal Foxey – a large black-and-white pooch many times Sadie’s size. In response to dozens angry comments from viewers concerned for the pocket-sized Sadie’s well-being, Mr Grant, the dogs’ owner, insisted that Sadie and Foxey are the best of friends.
