Shelter dogs and best friends Kala and Keira were scheduled to be euthanized on Monday, when Angels Among Us Pet Rescue posted this photo of the two having a hug in a last ditch attempt to get them a new home
Unsurprisingly, the image was shared thousands of times, and made it onto the Facebook feed of a local resident, who arrived at the shelter two hours after the picture went up and adopted both Kala and Keira.
